Saudi Producer Softens August Polymer Price Cuts as Market Finds Stability

Since the market correction started in June, domestic HDPE prices have dropped by around 21–22%, while LLDPE film has declined by nearly 15% since entering the downtrend in July. PPH film and fibre grades have also lost approximately 15% over the same period.
Market participants also noted that the producer did not publish August prices for Homo-PP raffia and Homo-PP injection grades. Traders attributed this to limited product availability and lower allocations for these grades during the month.
The producer's revised August prices are valid on an FD Jeddah, cash basis (excluding VAT).
