Saudi Producer Raises PE Offers for Vietnam’s Nov-Dec Shipments
The producer increased its HDPE offer by $60/ton, while LLDPE offers rose by $20-30/ton from the previous levels. The latest offers were reported at $1,270/ton for HDPE film and $1,200/ton for LLDPE film, both on a CIF Vietnam, cash basis.
A source from the producer said supply remains limited, attributing the latest increases to higher upstream costs and port bottlenecks. Any additional costs arising during the shipment period will be borne by customers, as was the case last month.
