The latest offers come as Southeast Asian PE prices remain close to three-month highs, supported by elevated crude oil and feedstock costs and tighter availability, particularly from the Middle East amid continuing geopolitical tensions.
A Vietnamese trader recently reported that many sellers had already sold out their available stocks, allowing suppliers with remaining material to maintain higher price levels. Despite generally weak demand, branded Middle Eastern PE continued to attract relatively healthy interest because of its limited availability.
