PE Price Adjustments Effective 10th October 2026

The latest domestic price circular for polyethylene (PE) products, effective from 10th October 2026, indicates selective price adjustments by producers rather than a broad-based hike. Notably, the prices for Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and pipe-grade High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) have been increased, while Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) prices remain unchanged.
Specifically, LDPE prices have been raised by INR 3,000 per metric ton in the extrusion-coating and injection-moulding sectors. Similarly, HDPE prices have seen an increase of INR 3,000 per metric ton in the pipe sector. In contrast, LLDPE prices have been rolled over, indicating no change across all sectors.
These adjustments reflect a targeted approach by producers, focusing on specific sectors rather than implementing a uniform price increase across all PE products. This strategy may be influenced by varying demand dynamics and production costs in different application areas.
