LATEST NEWS: Taiwanese Major Cuts June PVC Offers Across Asia

A major Taiwanese PVC producer has announced lower June PVC offers for Asian markets amid continued weak regional demand and strong competition from low-priced Chinese carbide-based material.

For June shipments, PVC K67 offers to India were reduced by $130/ton to $990/ton CIF India, cash basis. Offers to China were lowered by $120/ton to $940/ton CIF China, while FOB Taiwan export prices were cut by $120/ton to $910/ton.

In Southeast Asia, June offers were reported at $935/ton CIF Vietnam, $960/ton CIF Thailand, and $970/ton CIF Malaysia, all on a cash basis.

No volume discounts were announced, while allocation details were unavailable at the time of reporting.
