Polyethylene offers for the South Asian market witnessed significant declines across major grades as weak demand and softer regional sentiment continued pressuring prices.
HDPE Injection Molding (HD IM) offers dropped by $65/MT, settling at $1410/MT.
HDPE Blow Molding grades also moved lower, declining by $45/MT to reach $1430/MT.
HDPE Film offers recorded one of the steepest corrections, falling by $65/MT to settle at $1430/MT.
Meanwhile, LLDPE offers decreased by $55/MT, reaching $1425/MT.
The latest reductions reflect cautious buying activity across South Asia as converters continue limiting purchases amid sufficient inventory levels and weak downstream demand conditions.
