Indonesian Producer Raises Domestic PE and PP Offers for Fifth Consecutive Round

A major Indonesian polymer producer has announced another round of increases in its domestic polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) offers, marking the fifth consecutive pricing round with stable-to-higher levels. The latest adjustments were supported by stronger cost pressures, with PP prices registering significantly larger increases than PE.

In the PE segment, LLDPE film and injection offers were raised by IDR160,000/ton ($9/ton), while HDPE film prices increased by IDR150,000/ton ($8/ton).

PP prices saw sharper adjustments. PP block copolymer injection offers rose by IDR180,000/ton ($10/ton), while PP random copolymer injection increased by IDR540,000/ton ($30/ton). Homo-PP raffia, injection and BOPP film prices were lifted by IDR720,000/ton ($40/ton), while homo-PP film recorded the largest increase of IDR730,000/ton ($40/ton).
