Saudi major unveils July PP, PE offers to local market

PP prices were reduced by around SAR 339-344/ton from June levels, while PE grades saw even larger declines. Among all products, LDPE film recorded the steepest month-on-month reduction. Market participants noted that easing geopolitical concerns, softer feedstock costs, and comfortable supply conditions have encouraged suppliers to adopt a more aggressive pricing strategy.
Despite the lower offers, buying activity remains limited. Many converters are continuing to purchase only for immediate requirements, expecting the market to remain under pressure in the near term.
