RIL Cuts Deemed Export Polypropylene Prices from November 1, 2025

Key Details
The price adjustment applies to all domestic PP grades being exported under the “deemed export” category.
This change comes after RIL had earlier reduced domestic PP prices by ₹1,500/MT with effect from 1 October 2025.
The domestic incentive scheme (“Early Bird”) of ₹2,500/MT has been withdrawn, contributing to margin and cost adjustments.
Market Implications
Exporters & Traders: With deemed export pricing aligned lower, exporters of PP may see tighter margins unless they secure cargoes or logistics efficiencies.
Domestic Processors: A lower benchmark export price may incentivize exporters to divert more product abroad, potentially tightening domestic availability.
Pricing Discipline: RIL’s move signals further cost calibration in PP markets—buyers will be watching downstream supply-demand and whether domestic prices follow suit.
