Major Indonesian producer raises domestic PP and PE prices for the eighth straight time

In the latest revision, polyethylene (PE) grades recorded much larger increases than polypropylene (PP), reversing the trend seen in the previous pricing round. LDPE film, LLDPE injection, and HDPE film prices were each increased by IDR1,640,000/ton ($91/ton), reflecting the stronger upward momentum in the PE market.
PP grades also moved higher, although the increases were more moderate. Prices for PP Block Copolymer Injection, PP Random Copolymer Injection, and Homo PP Injection were raised by IDR550,000/ton ($31/ton). Meanwhile, Homo PP Raffia and Homo PP Film increased by IDR540,000/ton ($30/ton), while BOPP Film registered a smaller rise of IDR90,000/ton ($5/ton).
The latest adjustments indicate that the producer continues to respond to rising production costs and strengthening market conditions by revising domestic prices upward.
