Dalian futures see broad gains across PP, LLDPE, PVC and MEG on April 22
Futures trading on April 22 at the Dalian Commodity Exchange recorded a strong upward movement across key polymer and feedstock contracts, with all major products closing higher.

LLDPE futures for September delivery posted a notable increase, rising by CNY104 per ton to settle at CNY8048 per ton (around $1044 per ton excluding VAT). Trading activity remained robust, with volumes reaching 560,231 tons.

PP futures for September also moved higher, gaining CNY59 per ton to close at CNY8245 per ton (approximately $1070 per ton without VAT). The contract saw active participation, with traded volumes totaling 553,804 tons.

PVC futures followed the positive trend, climbing by CNY63 per ton to settle at CNY5189 per ton (about $673 per ton excluding VAT). This segment recorded the highest trading volume of the day at 1,176,723 tons.

MEG futures also strengthened, rising by CNY79 per ton to close at CNY4800 per ton (roughly $623 per ton without VAT), with trade volume reaching 412,405 tons.

Overall, the market reflected a bullish sentiment during the session, with gains observed across all major contracts supported by steady trading activity.
