Dalian futures rise across PP, LLDPE, PVC and MEG on March 16

Futures contracts on the Dalian Commodity Exchange closed higher across all major petrochemical products on March 16, with gains recorded in PP, LLDPE, PVC and MEG.

May LLDPE futures settled CNY202/ton ($29/ton) higher at CNY8632/ton ($1107/ton without VAT). Total trading volume reached 983,305 tons.

May PP futures also moved higher, closing CNY219/ton ($32/ton) higher at CNY8800/ton ($1128/ton without VAT) with a trading volume of 1,179,294 tons.

Meanwhile, May PVC futures rose CNY129/ton ($19/ton) to settle at CNY5858/ton ($751/ton without VAT). The contract recorded a trading volume of 2,852,128 tons.

May MEG futures also ended the session stronger, increasing CNY148/ton ($21/ton) to settle at CNY4888/ton ($627/ton without VAT) with 849,924 tons traded.
