Dalian Futures Close Higher Across PP, LLDPE, PVC and MEG on October 26

All four major polymer and chemical futures contracts on China’s Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) recorded gains on Monday, October 26, 2026, with polypropylene (PP) posting the largest increase in both yuan and dollar terms.

January LLDPE futures rose by CNY263/ton ($39/ton), settling at CNY9,083/ton, equivalent to $1,205/ton excluding VAT. Trading volume reached 894,954 tons.

January PP futures advanced by CNY377/ton ($57/ton) to close at CNY9,897/ton, or $1,313/ton excluding VAT. Total trading volume stood at 1,393,497 tons.

January PVC futures gained CNY138/ton ($21/ton), ending the session at CNY5,189/ton, equivalent to $688/ton excluding VAT. Trading volume was 2,382,314 tons.

January MEG futures also moved higher, increasing by CNY136/ton ($20/ton) to settle at CNY4,979/ton, or $659/ton excluding VAT. The contract recorded a trading volume of 1,016,490 tons.
