Dalian Futures Market: PP, LLDPE, PVC, MEG – June 30, 2026
Dalian futures closed mostly higher on June 30, with gains recorded across PP, LLDPE, PVC, and MEG contracts. Stronger sentiment in the polyolefin and petrochemical futures markets supported prices, while trading activity remained active, particularly in PVC and PP contracts.
September LLDPE futures settled at CNY6,937/ton, up CNY79/ton ($12/ton) from the previous session. The contract was equivalent to around $905/ton excluding VAT, with trading volume reaching 411,862 tons.
September PP futures ended the day at CNY7,323/ton, gaining CNY69/ton ($10/ton). The contract was assessed at approximately $955/ton excluding VAT, while trade volume totaled 758,170 tons.
September PVC futures also moved higher, rising CNY79/ton ($12/ton) to settle at CNY4,408/ton. The contract value stood at around $575/ton excluding VAT, recording the highest trading activity among the four products at 1,333,254 tons.
Meanwhile, September MEG futures posted a modest increase of CNY11/ton ($2/ton), closing at CNY4,063/ton. The contract was equivalent to approximately $530/ton excluding VAT, with trading volume reaching 241,884 tons.
Overall, the June 30 session saw a positive performance across major petrochemical futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange, led by gains in LLDPE, PP, and PVC.
