Dalian Futures Market: PP, LLDPE, PVC, MEG – June 25, 2026

China’s futures market closed mostly lower on June 25, reflecting continued weakness across major petrochemical contracts.
September LLDPE futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange declined by CNY156/ton ($23/ton) to settle at CNY6,871/ton ($894/ton excluding VAT). Trading activity remained active, with total volume reaching 562,969 tons.
September PP futures recorded the steepest decline among the key polymer contracts, falling by CNY240/ton ($35/ton) to close at CNY7,113/ton ($927/ton excluding VAT). Trade volume stood at 1.13 million tons, highlighting strong market participation.
September PVC futures also moved lower, slipping by CNY18/ton ($3/ton) to settle at CNY4,493/ton ($586/ton excluding VAT). Trading volume exceeded 1.12 million tons.
Meanwhile, September MEG futures posted a sharp decline of CNY202/ton ($30/ton), ending the session at CNY4,055/ton ($529/ton excluding VAT). Total traded volume reached 485,000 tons.
Overall, PP and MEG contracts saw the largest losses of the day, while PVC remained relatively stable compared to other petrochemical futures.
