Dalian Futures Market: PP, LLDPE, PVC, MEG – June 24, 2026

Trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange ended mostly lower on June 24, with PP, LLDPE, and MEG futures posting losses, while PVC remained largely stable.
September LLDPE futures settled at CNY 7,024/ton ($914/ton ex-VAT), down CNY 92/ton ($14/ton) from the previous session. Trading activity remained healthy, with total volume reaching 479,168 tons.
Meanwhile, September PP futures recorded the steepest decline among the major polymer contracts. The contract settled at CNY 7,356/ton ($957/ton ex-VAT), representing a drop of CNY 133/ton ($20/ton). Trading volume stood at 875,729 tons.
In the PVC market, September futures remained virtually unchanged, closing at CNY 4,487/ton ($584/ton ex-VAT). Despite limited price movement, PVC attracted strong participation, with trading volume reaching 960,017 tons.
September MEG futures also moved lower during the session, settling at CNY 4,210/ton ($548/ton ex-VAT) after declining by CNY 52/ton ($8/ton). Total trading volume was reported at 364,249 tons.
Overall, market sentiment remained cautious as most major futures contracts extended losses, with PP leading the declines while PVC showed relative stability compared to other products.
