Dalian Futures Market: PP, LLDPE, PVC, MEG – June 18, 2026

Dalian petrochemical futures ended lower on June 18, with all major contracts posting losses amid continued weakness in commodity markets and cautious trading sentiment.
September LLDPE futures recorded a sharp decline of CNY216/ton, settling at CNY7294/ton ($954/ton without VAT). Trading activity remained active, with total volume reaching 529,045 tons.
September PP futures also moved lower, falling by CNY255/ton to close at CNY7772/ton ($1017/ton without VAT). The contract registered a trading volume of 839,170 tons.
In the PVC market, September futures slipped by CNY38/ton to settle at CNY4617/ton ($604/ton without VAT), while total traded volume stood at 866,347 tons.
September MEG futures followed the downward trend, easing by CNY38/ton to finish at CNY4205/ton ($550/ton without VAT). Trading volume for the session was reported at 329,380 tons.
