China PVC Exports See Sharp Monthly Drop in April 2026

China's PVC trade data for April 2026 showed a significant slowdown in exports, while imports also remained weak. The latest customs figures indicate that overseas shipments declined sharply from March levels, reflecting softer buying interest from key export markets.

PVC exports from China totaled 285,000 tons in April, down 58.4% month-on-month and 21% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, China had exported 14,16,900 MT in first three month of 2026 (Jan to March).

On the import side, China imported 16,000 tons of PVC in April, marking a decline of 12.2% from March and 40.3% lower year-on-year. Total imports during the first four months of 2026 stood at 57,000 tons, down 33.5% from a year earlier.
