Taiwanese Major Raises August PVC Offers to Asian Buyers

Under the latest pricing revision, offers were raised to $880/ton CIF India, $830/ton CIF China and $800/ton FOB Taiwan, all on a cash basis. The latest increases follow the $45-50/ton hikes announced in late July, providing some support to market sentiment as upstream costs strengthened.
However, demand across the region remains relatively weak, limiting the impact of the higher offers on overall market activity.
The producer has also not offered any volume-based discounts with the latest price list. Market sources reported that the producer’s remaining August allocation is limited, adding some supply-side support to the latest increases.
August 2026 PVC Price Adjustment
FOB Taiwan
August: $800/ton
July: $780/ton

August: $880/ton
July: $860/ton

CIF China

The combination of stronger upstream markets and limited remaining August availability has encouraged the producer to maintain a firmer pricing position. Nevertheless, sluggish demand in key Asian markets remains a major constraint on further price gains.
