Indonesian Producer Raises October PVC Offers After September Absence

The producer’s October PVC offers were reported at $860-880/ton CIF Southeast Asia, cash, representing an increase of $50-60/ton compared with its latest August levels.
October Offers Increase by Up to $60/ton
The latest pricing marks a clear increase from the producer’s most recent August offers. The producer had previously revised its initial August prices higher later in the month before temporarily suspending its regional offers for September.
The October offers have now returned at $860-880/ton CIF Southeast Asia, with the increase reflecting the latest market conditions.
PVC Supply Currently Normal
A source from the producer said supply is currently running at usual levels. However, the producer is preparing for maintenance at one of its largest PVC production lines.
According to the source, the maintenance is scheduled to take place from late October through mid-November, which could affect availability during the period.
October Announcement Follows Taiwanese Producer’s Pricing
The Indonesian producer announced its October PVC prices one day after a major Taiwanese producer released its monthly offers for the region. The Taiwanese supplier implemented increases that were below market expectations.
The latest announcements from both producers come as regional PVC buyers assess October supply availability and pricing ahead of upcoming production maintenance.
