July 2026 Polymer Price Revisions by Major Indian Producers

July 2026 Polymer Price Revisions by Major Indian Producers

In late July 2026, major Indian polymer producers, including Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), and ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL), announced a series of price adjustments across various polymer grades. These revisions are a response to the dynamic supply-demand conditions and changing feedstock costs.

RIL has increased PVC prices, with high K-grade seeing an increase of INR 3,000 per metric ton and low K-grade by INR 4,000 per metric ton. Meanwhile, IOC has announced price increases effective from August 1, 2026, with polypropylene (PP) up by INR 5,000 per metric ton, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for injection molding and raffia by INR 3,000 per metric ton, and other HDPE grades by INR 1,500 per metric ton. Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) prices have also risen by INR 4,000 per metric ton.

Similarly, OPaL has revised its rates, with PP prices up by INR 5,000 per metric ton, HDPE for blow molding, pipe, and HM film up by INR 1,500 per metric ton, and other HDPE grades up by INR 3,000 per metric ton. LLDPE prices have also been increased by INR 4,000 per metric ton.

These price adjustments reflect the ongoing efforts by these companies to align their pricing strategies with the current market conditions and cost structures.
