IOCL Revises PP Prices, Rolls Over Other PP and PE Grades

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced a revision in prices for certain polypropylene (PP) grades, effective from August 17, 2026. The price adjustments include an increase of ₹2,000 per metric ton (MT) for PP Injection Copolymer (ICP), ₹5,000/MT for PP Random Copolymer (RCP), and ₹4,000/MT for PP Film & Fiber/Lamination (F&F).
While these specific PP grades have seen an upward revision, IOCL has decided to roll over prices for other PP and polyethylene (PE) grades, including high-density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), and low-density polyethylene (LDPE). This decision reflects a stable pricing strategy for these materials in the current market conditions.
The price increase for PP grades is indicative of market dynamics and demand fluctuations, while the stability in PE prices suggests a balanced supply-demand scenario. Buyers are advised to plan their procurement based on these revised prices and their specific needs.
