EU Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duties on BDO Imports from China, Saudi Arabia and the US

The investigation was initiated on 6 June 2025 and covers BDO imports classified under CN codes 2905 39 26 and 2905 39 28. The case followed a complaint lodged in late April 2025 by INEOS Solvents.
Under the provisional measures, anti-dumping duties on Chinese producers have been set at 105.6% for Xinjiang Markor Chemical Industry, 113.7% for Wanhua Chemical (Sichuan) and other Chinese exporters, and 107.5% for other cooperating producers.
Saudi Arabian exporters face lower duty rates, with 52.4% applied to International Diol Company and other Saudi producers.
For US suppliers, duties were revised slightly downward, set at 135.7% for Lyondell Chemical Company and 142.5% for other US producers.
The duties apply to the CIF price at the EU border, before customs duties. These measures are provisional and may be adjusted following the final determination of the investigation.
