Dalian futures show mixed movement on April 30 as PP, LLDPE and MEG rise while PVC slips
Futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange recorded a mixed trend on April 30, with most contracts moving higher while PVC posted a decline.

September LLDPE futures increased by CNY42 per ton, settling at CNY8441 per ton (around $1093 per ton excluding VAT). Trading activity reached 402,815 tons.

September PP futures also advanced, gaining CNY71 per ton to close at CNY8807 per ton (approximately $1140 per ton without VAT), with total volumes at 442,442 tons.

In contrast, September PVC futures edged lower by CNY27 per ton, settling at CNY5293 per ton (about $685 per ton excluding VAT). The contract saw trading volumes of 988,936 tons.

Meanwhile, September MEG futures moved up by CNY45 per ton to finish at CNY5080 per ton (around $658 per ton without VAT), with traded volume recorded at 345,822 tons.

Overall, the session reflected stronger sentiment in most polymer-linked futures, while PVC remained under slight pressure.
