China’s Dalian futures close mixed as PP and LLDPE rise while PVC and MEG decline
May LLDPE futures settled CNY11/ton ($2/ton) higher at CNY8430/ton ($1081/ton without VAT). Total trading volume reached 1,098,844 tons.
May PP futures also moved upward, closing CNY113/ton ($16/ton) higher at CNY8581/ton ($1101/ton without VAT). Trading activity totaled 1,291,066 tons.
Meanwhile, May PVC futures declined slightly, settling CNY24/ton ($3/ton) lower at CNY5729/ton ($735/ton without VAT) with a trading volume of 2,574,032 tons.
May MEG futures also ended the session lower, falling CNY53/ton ($8/ton) to settle at CNY4740/ton ($608/ton without VAT). The contract recorded a trading volume of 899,619 tons.
