On September 28, prices for natural rubber raw materials in Thai production regions experienced an upward trend. Ribbed smoked sheets (RSS) were quoted at 87.00 THB/kg, marking an increase of 0.40 THB/kg. Field latex saw a more significant rise, priced at 82.50 THB/kg, up by 1.50 THB/kg. Meanwhile, cup lump prices increased by 0.50 THB/kg, reaching 76.00 THB/kg.

Thailand, being a major hub for natural rubber production, sees these price hikes as a direct influence on upstream production costs. This scenario supports higher spot prices for natural rubber and suggests a positive outlook for related futures contracts.
