Dalian Futures Market: PP, LLDPE, PVC, MEG – June 22, 2026

Dalian commodity futures mostly moved lower on June 22, reflecting continued weakness across key petrochemical contracts. LLDPE, PP, and PVC futures all closed in negative territory, while MEG managed to post a modest gain.
September LLDPE futures ended the session at CNY 7,188/ton ($939/ton without VAT), down CNY 106/ton ($16/ton) from the previous settlement. Trading activity remained active, with volumes reaching 456,362 tons.
September PP futures recorded a sharper decline, settling at CNY 7,621/ton ($995/ton without VAT) after losing CNY 151/ton ($22/ton) during the session. Total trading volume stood at 708,439 tons.
September PVC futures also extended losses, closing at CNY 4,563/ton ($596/ton without VAT), down CNY 54/ton ($8/ton). Trading volume reached 772,889 tons.
In contrast, September MEG futures edged higher by CNY 24/ton ($4/ton) to settle at CNY 4,229/ton ($552/ton without VAT). The contract recorded a trading volume of 375,012 tons.
Overall, sentiment remained weak across most polymer futures contracts, with PP posting the largest decline among the major products tracked on the exchange.
