Today's Polymer Price Updates - PP and PVC South Asia Offers Decline

South Asia is witnessing a decline in import offers for polypropylene (PP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), according to the latest updates. Domestic producers are taking measures to stabilize the market by implementing price protection.
For polypropylene, there has been no change in domestic prices set by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). However, import offers in South Asia have decreased by $30-45 per metric ton, with Raffia/Injection grade priced at $1275 per metric ton, Film grade at $1290 per metric ton, and PPCP grade at $1325 per metric ton.
In the case of PVC, RIL is also providing price protection. South Asia import offers have dropped by $50, bringing the price to $760 per metric ton.
Meanwhile, in China, futures markets opened with mixed results. Polypropylene futures are lower at 7850 RMB per metric ton, while PVC futures have seen an increase, priced at 4638 RMB per metric ton.
