Dalian Futures Market – PP, LLDPE, PVC & MEG | June 5, 2026
Dalian Commodity Exchange futures closed mixed on June 5, with PVC recording the sharpest decline among the major petrochemical contracts. PP remained largely stable, while MEG posted a modest gain.

LLDPE futures for September delivery edged lower by CNY10/ton, settling at CNY7908/ton ($1034/ton excluding VAT). Trading volume reached 403,799 tons.

PP futures for September delivery remained nearly unchanged, closing at CNY8696/ton ($1137/ton excluding VAT) with a trading volume of 498,218 tons.

PVC futures saw the biggest drop of the day, falling by CNY91/ton to settle at CNY4783/ton ($625/ton excluding VAT). Trading activity remained strong, with volumes totaling 992,635 tons.

Meanwhile, September MEG futures moved slightly higher, gaining CNY15/ton to close at CNY4481/ton ($586/ton excluding VAT). Trading volume stood at 279,915 tons.

The session reflected continued weakness in PVC, while PP remained stable and MEG managed to register a modest gain.
