Dalian futures end mixed on May 29 as LLDPE gains while PVC slips
The Dalian Commodity Exchange closed with mixed movements on May 29, with LLDPE and PP futures posting slight gains, PVC moving lower, and MEG remaining largely stable.

September LLDPE futures increased by CNY33/ton to settle at CNY7805/ton, equivalent to nearly $1020/ton excluding VAT. Trading activity remained firm, with total volume reaching 525,600 tons.

September PP futures edged slightly higher by CNY2/ton to close at CNY8456/ton, or around $1106/ton without VAT. Total traded volume for the contract stood at 623,477 tons.

Meanwhile, September PVC futures declined by CNY13/ton to settle at CNY4929/ton, equivalent to approximately $644/ton excluding VAT. PVC recorded trading volume of 960,477 tons during the session.

September MEG futures remained mostly unchanged, ending at CNY4444/ton, or around $581/ton without VAT. Total trade volume for MEG reached 304,054 tons.
