Dalian futures move higher across PP, LLDPE, PVC and MEG on May 6
Futures in China’s Dalian Commodity Exchange closed higher across major petrochemical products on May 6, with gains seen in LLDPE, PP, PVC, and MEG contracts.

September LLDPE futures increased by CNY 32 per ton ($5/ton), settling at CNY 8,473 per ton ($1,089/ton without VAT). Trading activity reached 349,065 tons.

September PP futures recorded a stronger rise of CNY 102 per ton ($15/ton), closing at CNY 8,909 per ton ($1,133/ton without VAT), with total trade volume at 412,967 tons.

September PVC futures edged up by CNY 13 per ton ($2/ton) to settle at CNY 5,306 per ton ($686/ton without VAT). Trading volume stood at 906,999 tons.

Meanwhile, September MEG futures climbed by CNY 71 per ton ($10/ton), ending at CNY 5,151 per ton ($651/ton without VAT), with traded volumes of 348,429 tons.

Overall, the market showed a firm upward trend across all key contracts during the session.
